We've had family in and out of Jane Ball for over 20 years now. One of my children has finished the 5th grade (it only goes till the 5th grade) and I have two children who are still going there. It is a wonderful school. We have VERY high rate of involved parents which truly makes a difference. I have nothing bad to say about it and I would recommend it to anyone.

We were new this year my son a third grade has been picked on and bullied all year, while the Principal knows of the problem he is doing nothing to help leaving it to the teacher My son went from enjoying school to asking if he could stay home everyday from being bullied. I hope things change in this school otherwise they are going to loose a lot of kids. we are moving to another school district this year a better one.

Jane Ball is an excellent school! The learning environment is just fabulous. Plus you can tell the principle realy cares about the children. We were new to the community last year and have felt so welcomed! From the ladies in the front office to the PTA and all of the wonderful teachers and everyone in between. I would recommend Jane Ball to anyone! Happy Parent

Jane Ball is like a family. Everyone can express their thoughts, concerns, and feelings; and they don't get disregarded as nothing. Parents are always welcome in classes to help. In fact, they are encouraged. The teachers are always willing to share their thoughts on your children and call with concerns as well as praises.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
