The staff at this school is beyond words. My daughter is in 1st grade and she is highly allergic to Peanuts. The staff there was trained how to take care of my daughter in case of a bad reaction. They also made a whole table in the lunch room peanut free. The class that she was in also was peanut free. That made me feel like my little princess was very safe at school. They exceeded my expectations for a public school. She absolutely adored her teacher and all the classmates.

My daughter goes to Emerson and is in the 1st grade. She loves the school and the staff. She has been at Emerson since pre-school, and has grown so much in the past years.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
