CRES encourages diversity and offers an excellent bilingual program. My son is not only excelling in his regular core curriculum, but is learning a second language as well. I am very pleased with the education my son is receiving at CRES and am thankful to have such a great school in my community.
They value diversity and the arts as they work hard to foster a happily integrated, multi-cultural community in the school.

I have two children that attend CRES. My older child was identified as gifted and entered in the Peak program. My youngest started kindergarten this year, and is in the dual language program. Both are doing extremely well, enjoy school and rave about the 'specials', especially music, p.e., technology, library time, and the ability to have a web page. CRES staff keeps parents very involved and informed.

My two children attend Crystal River Elementary School and I am very impressed with the academic programs that are available to my children. My older child has been identified as a 'gifted' student and she has been met with many challenges including the opportunity to get Spanish as a second language instruction daily. My children continually rave about their 'specials' classes which include P.E., music, art, Spanish and library/technology time. Crystal River has a very involved parent committee who raised up to $20,000 last school year to be used for special projects in the school.
