I think this a very excelled school both of my daughter were failing when we moved to this area from cedar grove now they are a b honor roll students
I have had 3 children go through Parker. I feel that it was a great school. I do however feel that it is going down hill. The Principal is not a very personable person. I feel that since he has become Principal the school has been run into the ground. Yes, Parker may have new construction and look good from the road, however looks can be decieving. The teacher's are wonderful!!! All of my children's teachers would go above and beyond their call of duty.
My son attended this school in K and 1st. He really liked the school. However, I had problems with the principal and one of his teachers. After he completed 1st grade we moved to VA. His behavior improved dramatically because he was attending a better school.
Parker is an adequate school but lacking in programs for children with special needs. They need to offer tutoring for other times other than just during FCAT. I offered to be involved on several occasions and volunteer in the the class rooms of both of my childeren. Parent involvement is not encouraged.
