I only have good things to say about Crother's. They listen to parent's concerns and try to work with them the best they can to help the children succeed in the classroom.

Not only have I been a parent of a student, I am part of the 'new' PTC here and let me just comment about the previous posts: Contrary to popular belief, PTC welcomes new ideas & parent involvement, but w/o the support & dedication of more parents, it is hard to please everyone! The New Board '09 and the ne parents that have joined & attended meetings have found our meetings informative, interractive & purposeful. We have plans for many great things, but have had the same 6-7 parents working on everything all year, and spread very thin... I encourag eall the nay-sayers to attend the Tuesday night meetings & show your support & offer to lend a hand in any way you can! with more action and less talk think of how many more great things that can be achieved with our little pandas! Have a great year 09-10!!!!!!

I think Crothers is a great school! My third child is now in 3rd grade at Crothers! Her teacher, Ms. Gourney, is the best! Ms. French, the principal, is doing a great job! The PTC works hard but need more parents to help. They try to do a lot but have very few parents who are willing to get involved and help. The new craft day this year instead of the Santa shop was great idea! Most of the children loved it! It eliminated the problem of children not having any money to shop at the Santa shop. All the children got to make Christmas gifts for their family members for free!

Crother's school has much potential to be a really excellent school. They have some very devoted and wonderful teachers - Mrs. Gorny has been a wonderful asset to the school. However when I say 'potential' it is because there is not alot of extra-curricular acitivities going on. The school does not put on plays like many of the Warren con schools. They did not have any sort of Holiday program for the kids. They got rid of the Santa Shop and opted for a craft event(that was a bust) - my child was very disapointed. I think they need some new inovative ideas to help revitalize the school! I also still feel that the PTC is not willing to want to accept new ideas and changes that would be positive for the school and kids.
