I was at Anthony at the beginning of the school year, to deliver flowers to my mom - it is her first year at Anthony. I was surprised at how friendly, quiet and professional the atmosphere was. I noticed an extremely well dressed woman speaking to office personnel. I am glad to see that schools are getting back to the dressed up, respectable matter of teaching and leading. Sorry, folks, but appearance does count. I was not surprised to later learn this woman was the head of the school, a doctor. Good for Anthony!

My children both attend Anthony. The Staff involvement is the best I have seen at any school. My son has never been more excited about anything than being in YGLA. I've seen great improvement in him, since he started thie program. Mr. Cannon is amazing with the these children, and it's not just him. This extends to the rest of the staff. Most of the childern at this school come from broken homes and poverty, but you would never be able to tell by the way they act at school. We live a block away from David Brewer, but I wouldn't send my children anywhere, but Anthony. I also love the diversity of the school. When I drop my children off at school, I think of Martin Luther King's, I have a Dream, speech. I think he would be happy to see all the beautiful children.
