i am a student. and im in the 7th grade. this is my second year at this school and i would have to say i hate it!!!!!!!! during lunch we dont get enough time to eat! we have fights break out everyday and all the staff does is expell them, instead of working it out.... the education is horible like one of the comments said they spend more time yelling at us than they do teaching!i know that we have a bad days and forget stuff but we dont do it on purpose. as for the teachers some are awesome and some are really bad!!!!!!!

My daughter is a 7th grader, 2nd year at findlay middles school, and loves it. We haven't had any big issues with any of the teachers or staff there. The only few complaints from my daughter was that... Some teachers are mean, and there is a staff member in the deans office who's rude & unfriendly but there only human and also have there bad days. The only thing i have to say about that is...They should hire people friendly staff, they are working with kids &their parents after all. Overall my daughter is doing great! the only thing i would advise in any situation @ any school is ... To have open communication with your child, your childs teachers, and with the deans or prinsipals. Sometimes it's not all the schools and or the teachers falt. The student either wants to do good or dont. Jpc

As a teacher at Findlay, I arirve everyday at 6:00 am to prepare for the day and leave around 5pm exhausted. I spend at least an hour each night trying to contact parents by phone concerning their children's academic and /or behavioral issues. Most of the time, I am uanable to reach them nor do they return my calls. Many of my students come to class each day without paper and pencil and homework. Much of the class time is spent on discipline- just trying to maintain order so I can teach. Most of Findlay students treat school like a joke and only see it as a avenue to socializing. This is my 2nd year at Findlay and my last. I am suppose to teach not police, but that's how I spend most of my time. Findlay needs to eliminate the students who don't want an education.

I am in 6th grade in Findlay Middle School.I dont hate this school,but I dont love it.It does not have very kind teachers and the teachers rush students and push them Waaay to hard!I sometimes think that this school is a rip-off!This year (2008) they are making u pay $5 to get a basketball application!I can say 1 thing though... the food is great!!!
