BCA has 2 campuses now the Highschool campus is great however the elementary campus is not so great the principal Mrs. Keene has a very bad attitude when dealing with situations and children. She was the ultimate reason behind me pulling my daughter out from this school. Other than her this school is great.

ive been at bca since 4th grade--i am now a senior and i am glad to have never gone to public school. It is nice to have chapel every week and worship. Sports are our #1 thing. Art and Music is alright-but the band and choir compete at state level. Our academic program is VERY thorough. i feel i have learned more at BCA than i would at public school. The parents are VERY involved. THe parents are our lunch ladies, our coaches, our planners for homecoming and 'spring spectacular' (prom). The parents are the reason our school works.

Although the school is quite small, it has its advantages such as great friends and relationships with the teachers. The school is short on money which explains its small facutly, which results in bigger classes with excelled students and average/below average students in the same classroom learning the same thing. Overall the school has its advantages and disadvantages.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
