Roseland Park Elementary has been a wonderful experience for my two children, I have one that has been there since K-garden and will be finishing up 6th grade this year, and I believe that my child will take a lot of what they have learned from the school into Junior High next year. I also have another child that does have ADHD and the teachers and other helpers have been wonderful working with them since he has started K-garden up until now. I also have several friends whose children attend Roseland Park Elemantary and love the teachers and the experience that their kids have gotten there also. I would highly recommend this school to any friend or family member of mine. It may be a small school but they are very close knit and pull together to show every student how much they are cared for!

Roseland Park is a good school for those studnets that fit into their little mold, but if the child falls outside of their opinion of a model student, they are labeled a behavior problem and treated unfairly. I have sent one child thru there and the experience was great, but he was a model student. My youngest has a type a personality with dislexia and disgraphia and they do not understand how to teach him. So if your child has any learning diabilities, this is not the place for them.

Southside Elementary School has great teachers that love their students and are completely committed to their education and safety. They are very creative in making lessons fun and interesting for the children. The school building is extremely clean, cared for, and safe. The principal knows each student as an individual, by name and personality, and treats them as family. They are very disciplined with the students which accounts for the low incidence of behavior problems. Southside Elementary is also the only elementary school in Picayune that accepts children with disabilities and they should be commended for the great job they do for these children. The teachers are very skilled in the education and care of these special students. Southside Elementary reminds me of a very well cared for and academic minded small private school and I am completely happy and proud that my son received his k-6th grade education there.

Roseland Park Elementary School is one of the only schools in the district of Picayune that has teachers who love their job and are there for the kids. They want the kids to succeed and love school. So they devote their time to engaging the students in activities that challenge and encourage creativity.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
