As a former student, I found much to be desired from both the faculty and curriculum at Charlevoix High School. Even though I was at the top of my class, I found myself to be extremely disadvantaged entering the 'real world' at the University of Michigan. Unfortuantly for all the students that pass through Charlevoix High, mediocrity is not only accepatble, but encouraged.

This is an outstanding high school. My step-daughter graduated last year and made Dean's List at CMU. Other step-daughter is getting great curriculum from great teachers currently.

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
