I'm a parent and I have 3 kids who attend Binion Elem. My husband and I moved here in 2006 and our kids have been here for 3 yrs. We all love it! When we got here the school had an old building, but it was kept clean and decent. Last year the school just got a brand new 2-story building. I really like the teachers here. Everyone is hardworking and caring toward the kids. My kids grades have been wonderful here (nothing less than a C). There's also tutoring available for kids that are falling behind and it's free. There is a lot of parent involvement here. The teachers are very strong in leading their class. The principal rides throughout the school (he's in a wheel-chair) to see how things are going everyday. We have a lot of fun here, and a lot of the staff have decent Morals :)
I absolutely love this school. The teachers provide a cirrriculum well suited for the various learning styles represented at the school. The children are provided with quality experiences at Binion that many of them would otherwise miss. The cultural diversity of the staff and students offers the students the opportunity to learn tolerance and acceptance. This is a unique opportunity that many schools do not provide. I am grateful that my son has such a wonderful and supportive school home.
Wow what a deception, this school has terrible parents, with no discipline they are worst than their kids, also the school staff is not so great, sometimes they are organized and sometimes they are not, i am ashamed to have my kid in here, the only good thing is the building wich is new, but that is it.
Jack C Binion Elem is a very old school, but soon to be replaced with a new, beautiful building. I am sure students, teachers and parents will all show pride in a school that has crossed the ages of education. Jack C Binion offers wonderful opportunities for children. Teachers and staff go the extra mile to ensure good mental stimulation. I'm very proud to have my Grandson at this school. Thank you Jack C Binion.
