This is our first year at the school. We have been very pleased with the adminstration and teachers.

This school has great potential and is heading in the right direction with Thomas Bivens as the new principal.

I have one Ready Springs Graduate and one soon to be graduate. The adademic program and Ready Springs is average to above average as my child was well prepared for High School. Because of the small school size, there is more opportunity to participate in school sports. With the addition of the their new PACE program, the choice of elective classes is far above averge.

Both my children went to Ready Springs for one year when we first moved to the Penn Valley area. While we were very pleased with my daughter's experience in first grade, we were severely disappointed in the caliber and attitude of the 'upper grade' staff. Our son was in 7th grade, in a class of nearly 30 children. More than half were failing or below standards. When I questioned the obvious lack of concern regarding the low achievement of the upper grades, I was told that 'they were tracking' that class. How fortunate for them. As our son was the top student in his class, I was advised that he could become a 'leader'. We transfered both our children to a private school.
