The parent involvement is top notch at this school. The teachers are great and strive to teach to high academic standards. They go above and beyond. Ms. Guerrero is an excellent teacher and the school should be proud to have someone of her caliber. She gives her time and patience to each of her 40+ students. wow. Sister Barbara was a strong leader however she no longer is the principal. Overall excellent school.
I have two of my sons at Savio and the education that they are receiving is wonderful not only education wise but safe wise also.
It's a Catholic school, so kids are going to be sheltered there, and raised with expectations and higher standards for personal behavior. All by itself, that's going to draw fire from some parents. It's a great school, I went there, and I moved back to downey to send my kids there.
