This is my child's first year in the school. Although I wasn't able to attend the open house, I was able to get a tour of the school. Report cards are one-page, and parents have to come to Parent Teacher conferences to get a more detailed understanding of how their child is doing and to pick up the report cards. You have an option of meeting all or none of the teachers. Teachers and professional staff are caring and listen to parents' issues. An improvement that needs to be made is that the ASL class be reduced in size. The ASL class has a large number of students and my child says it's noisy . I think that over all the school is inviting to parents, yet more needs to be done with the entering students. Maybe a once a week orientation class for conflict resolution and/or creating healthy relationships

This will be my child's first year and from all the school which we attended we found that ASL is the best and my child will progress greatly here. You get a great warm welcome from staff and the students as well. It is not only education they will come out learning but another language which is different and will be very helpful for them in understanding how other people with disablity are not much different than they are. This is a privilage that our kids can learn to interact with other's who are so called different and would learn how to communicate in time if needed. I would recommend this school to every child. Children need a change of this same school system which is revolving more unstable.
