My son attended PBCS for K. I loved the warm, nurturing environment of the classroom. I had very close contact with his teacher, who always was able to give him individualized attention in the areas he had difficulty with. The small class size allows for more focus on each child, which meant a lot to me as a parent. The school was able to offer gym, and trips to the YMCA. My son's class did a large science project on various types of crabs which was displayed at their science night. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great education for their child at a very reasonable tuition rate,

I am overall very happy with our school. I would like to see a better art, p.E., And science situation. The children at this school do stand out in our community and always will because of the education they recieve. There is no better school in our area and believe me i have looked.

My sons (in K &1) both attend this school, and are doing great- both educationally and socially. There is no public school in this area that can compare- we have great teachers who are skilled and caring, and I love that my boys are learning about God in addition to the three R's. The small class sizes further ensure they get the attention they need, and any encountered problems can be adressed quickly.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
