Had to leave school because of my child being bullied. Was in a bad class.Too many parents with "perfect" kids.Very hard to deal with. This school is a parent runned school. If you are principal and you make an unpopular decision, you will be outta there on a rail. Was very sad to leave but things were not getting better.Live and learn.I really hope they will implement a bully no tolerance policy. My child is very happy in her new school even though she works all night so she can catch up with the class. The new school is far more difficult academically. As long as she is happy and loves to go to school. No cliques in her new class.I ask her who she plays with, she says "everybody".Such a relief. Before I would dread every day wondering how she was.Just my 2 cents.Hope it helps.

Being an educator myself, I thuroughly looked into the junior high programs from surrounding schools and found St. Lukes the strongest. This is my child's second year and he is excelling due to the dedicated and highly qualified teachers. He is being well prepared for a college prep high school. If you want easy classes where teachers give As to those who do not earn them, this isn't the school for you. This is a challenging school for dedicated students. parents do not have a say in curriculum, this is mandated by the state and archdiocese standards. Parents, trust your qualified teachers. If you can do a better job- home school your child or get a degree and teach yourself. I am blessed to have found such a wonderful school for my child.

My children both attend St. Luke and we are truly pleased with the school, staff and education. All of our needs and questions have always been met and answered right away, and we have never given any extra time or money to the school. The principal and teachers are more than qualified and give so much of their own time. St. Luke will be around for a very long time!
