Horizon Elementary has a dedicated staff and administration. They have many extra curricular activities such as chess club, drama, holiday programs, tutoring, summer classes, sports, homework club and more. They have dedicated professionals who strive to make every student successful and accountable. Most of all they hold themselves accountable.
I have found Horizon to provide challenging academics, some after school tutoring, a variety of sports opportunities, chess club, etc. They have a dedicated and caring staff that motivates students to learn and to do projects and to apply their learning. It is a wonderful school.
This is my children's second year at Horizon. They were required due to redistricting to move from Sine. I am not impressed, although this school has higher test scores, I do not feel my two children are learning more. I wish they could go back to Sine.
