I am currently attending Chinle High School, I have straight As and Bs currently. There are some great quality teachers at Chinle High School, however I feel like an overhaul of the teachers need to be done. Some of them don't care about the students at all, same with the office staff, I was tardy due to muddy roads and a no-show bus, but they couldn't have cared less, rolled their eyes at me, and nearly sent me to detention. Parents don't care either, the involvement sucks. This rubs off on the students, half of them don't care simply because of what they see from their parents and teachers. The principal is in denial about the drug and gang problems in his school and instead opts to crack down on cell phones and things of the like, but they're not the root of the problem. I am a student and can see that the way this school is run is completely out of order. PLEASE someone help this school before it crumbles!

Overall pretty good programs. Due to a high level of ELL students the academics are not as rigorous as they probably should be. My child really likes the school and feels safe there.

Im not a parent but Im a graduate of Chinle High. Its a good educational school, Ive learned alot from being on time to class, to disiplinary actions from the principal when I did wrong. I was involved with many class meetings and was involved with sports and clubs. Its a great school, I thank Chinle High for letting me the way to go, and its unlimited, I would want to strive more and gain as many knowledge from a lot of things. Chinle High has made me gain confidence in what I want to become in the future. So here I am expanding my options in going to school so I thank my schools and the whole district of Chinle.

Chinle High School is a great way to meet new people, especially if you'd like to meet more native americans.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
