I atteneded this school for 2 years..honestly i didn't like it because there's no diversity being an african american female in a mostly white school is difficult and there is some racism. i Didnt like this school until i moved..then i realized how much i missed it and maybe it was because i was here for my first 2 years of high school...i've had good times and if you're going to Carl Snadburg be sure to take advantage of EVEYTHING ....Ms.Zambuto is the best

CSHS has successfully prepared my two older children for college and is presently educating my youngest. All three have been accepted to top schools in the country. My children were not athletes but participated in a plethora of activities like Debate, Dance, Newspaper, Art shows, leadership programs as well as taking advantage of community projects. The teachers were excellent and the curriculum challenging. Keep up the great work!

I loved Sandburg, because the school is so big, it allows you to take any class you want. You also can try out for any sports team, even some that most schools do not even have. Yes it is a big school, but it gives kids a exchance to experience the real world and college like atmosphere.

Sandburg offers excellent educational opportunities for our children. The Marching Band is an incredible experience which will benefit all members in many facets of their adult lives.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
