Lincoln is a caring safe place for our children. The teachers work very hard and the principal is wonderful.

My daughters moved into Lincoln, having previously attended elementary school in Parkland school district. I was concerned about how Lincoln would measure up in comparison, but I needn't have worried. I would take Lincoln's small-school atmosphere, excellent teaching staff and outstanding principal over any other school. The faculty at Lincoln differentiates for all children, right down to homework assignments and test questions so everyone is challenged appropriately. The teachers and principal take the time to address parent concerns in a timely manner and my daughters feel safe and cared for while they are learning. This school is superb!

The diversity of this school is part of what makes it special. The teachers go out of their way to make things work for each student not just the class as a whole. The principal is par none.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
