I love the school, as well as the location and community. My children have been attending this school from Day 1, and I will not be leaving anytime soon!

I am thrilled with thompson elementary, their teachers and their administration. My son is a special ed student who is fully integrated in the third grade - and the support he receives, from both special ed and regular ed, is second to none! further, both staff and administration were very proactive (and caring for both parties) relating to a recent 'bully' situation. The staff and administration takes safety and mutual respect very seriously. Excellent school!

I love this school! The principle is highly involved with the children in an non intimating way. The teachers are kind and dedicated as is the entire support staff. The facility is always clean and maintained. I do although wish that more of the parents were involved in the academics of their children, The school makes numerous attempts to create a strong family base, but if the parents are unwilling to participate it is useless.I was appalled at how few kindergartners were able to write their names, yet the teachers diligently worked with them to accomplish the goals set forth by the school district. I applaud their patience and effort. My only fault with the school is that I wish that the class sizes were a smaller. Although they did well making the goals there was little extra time to work with the few children that were advanced.
