This school is wonderful. It is private with small classes (1:8)and my child gets personal attention everyday. The teachers and staff are the best. My son has dyslexia and his reading has improved so much over this last year at Crossroads that I am amazed. The place definitely isn't well known, but it should be! Whether your child is gifted and unchallenged or has learning disability and needs specialized program -check out this school.

This school is a hidden gem; I wouldn't have known it existed if I hadn't been referred by another highly reputable private school also speciales in teaching children with learning differences. My son is now a 4th year student (08-09) and through a combination of Crossroads School, its director, and dedicated teachers, along with two local therapists, my son has made a miraculous turn around this year. Through our 7-year journey of seeking answers, we have finally found a unique combination of help for my son who is Dyslexic, Dysgraphic and has a processing deficiency, I could not be happier with this great school, and more importantly, my son LIKES Crossroads. He feels safe, and is academically and emotionally supported. He went from being shunned by his friends in 2nd Gr. public school to being (in his words) 'one of the popular kids.' I highly recommend Crossroads School.

Our son had problems in public middle school. He was in the Gifted & Talented Program and would not do his homework and almost flunked 6th grade. He tested well and thought he could get by. Our psychologist recommended Crossroads School because they could give him special attention. Our son has ADHD but we don't allow that as an excuse. We sent him to Crossroads for 7th grade. At first he went back to his old habits. We had meetings with the director and teachers and worked out a plan and he finally turned himself around. From February on he made all A's. 8th grade has started well. Crossroads teachers work very close with each student and send home a report daily on each class. Parents are required to sign the reports everyday. The school teaches students organization, responsibility, and consequences besides school work. They build self esteem. They are great!
