Marshall is definitely moving forward! Several of my children have attended this elementary school and my grand-daughters are now attending. I have seen them through several administrations and teachers. The school is the largest elementary school in the area but operates very efficiently. They have several extended, enriching programs such as after-school drama, art, chorus, drumline, strings, cultural awareness, peotry, dance, and a few more. The school has also excelled in technology for the teachers to use when instructing as well as for the students to use as learners. They have also shared a lot of information with us (the families) through PTO and other 'family night' events. I can say that I have remained impressed with the determination of the staff (quality teachers who taught my children as well as new ones teaching my grands) and administration at Marshall. A school on their track can only get better!

I am very pleased with the changes that have occured at Marshall. The current administration 08-09 is working hard to put Marshall back at the top. The environment is very inviting. I recommend this elementary school highly.

This is the worst school. There are definetly safety concerns and poorly behaved students. Due to the lack of dicipline by staff. My child was picked on. Not to mention that fights among the students were reported both on the school bus and withen the school. I wouldn't recommend this school to any parent who is new to the Orangeburg area.
