I have a 9th grader in this school & I believe they get more credit than they deserve. Upon enrolling my child, I thought this was the best choice. Now I see some of the teachers there are (my opinion) too old to be dealing with teens, cannot control the kids, & do not show concern. Its as thought the school doesnt care if you pass or fail & Im disgusted with this school..

Very good school. Principal is excellent. Social worker is very competent and aware of students with special needs and always helpful. This school takes an interest in my child and his success this 1st yr, is a direct reflection of the staff.

This is my son's second year at HSAC,and I'm so pleased. The entire staff show concern and caring for the student's.Something I did not expect at a public school.I wish my son had attended his whole four years of high school there.

Well this is a great school where teachers are always there for you and where you could get to know other students better. They have great programs and a great way of teaching but because of the space we don't have much sports which everyone would like some more sports like swimming, bowling and much more. They inform our parents about us all the time and keep in contact with them in case we want to cut or something a like.I really love being a student of the HSAC.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
