It is a very community minded school that include the parents with the faculty to make the learning experience fun as well as high. They are extremely successful in their educational programs and I have never seen a school so easy to work with. The staff is wonderful, right through to the cafeteria workers and janitors. I can't say enough about the office personel!
My daughter has attended Washington-Henry for the past two years, and I could not be more pleased. They have fantastic teachers, especially at the Kindergarten level, and the student-teacher ratio is one of the lowest in the Richmond area.
I am the parent of 2 WHES students - 5th and 4th graders. We have been at WHES since Kindergarten. We love it and feel so lucky to have our children attending. The staff is warm and welcoming to both children and parents. Teachers seek and welcome a partnership with parents to help their children become successful. Everyone involved in the education of our children at WHES seems to be happy to be there. I highly recommend WHES.
I have two children at washington henry and it is a great school! The teachers are wonderful! My kids love going to school everyday! Parents are involved with a lot that goes on in the school and are always welcomed to visit or have lunch with their children!
