One thing that set this school apart was the instruction in social studies. All four teachers were first-rate. As for extras, Clarenceville did well in giving options to students.

Clarenceville High School is just like any other high school you will find. Of course there are problems that students face everyday, but doesn't every high school in America? For any of the former students that complained about their time here at Clarenceville, maybe you should have tried to join something to improve the school, rather than complain about it for 4 years. Clarenceville High School is full of teachers who will help you succeed, only when YOU want to and it's full of diversity. Can you say that about any other Livonia school?

I am in my junior year at c'ville. and i have a had a very good experience at c'ville. yes the students can be mean and all that but dont let it get to you. there has been good students here at c'ville and there still is. the teachers always meake sure you do your best and they always give opportunities to come in after school. and the extra activites are very good. there is a nice variety from sports to clubs. everyone goes on what has been said about c'ville. but none of it i wouldnt believe. anyones' child has a good opportunity here just like at any other livonia school. the staff just wants to see c'ville students succeed in life after high school. and if they do come to c'ville and have a bad experience im sorry because they made it like that for themselves.

Awful school- really quite honestly messed up my education. I'm now in college and struggling with high school level math because I never had to take beyond basic algebra in Clarenceville. This school sets you up to be a blue collar worker. Hey, I can type 80 WPM but I can't do basic chemistry or math. If my life goal was to be a secretary, C-ville would have set me up really well but I have higher aspirations than that. Personally, I did like the diversity but I witnessed a lot of racism from other students. I played a sport that wasn't football-- it's not even worth mentioning because it WAS NOT football and wasn't funded or cared about. At the time I was there it didn't seem too bad, it was a breeze for me and I received good grades but in the end I feel cheated.
