KIPP Amp Charter School

I rate this school Kipp Amp as a very very bad school. the rules are very strict and hard for such young childeren to follow. not only are their every day school hours from (7:25-5:00) but they also attend saturday classes as well. Like the regular schol hours aren't enough. The students can not wear jewlery, nail polish, cut jeans, make up, colored hair, scarfs , sweaters and gourdy jeans . In my opinion Kipp is a 'Boot Camp' and i encourage no parent to send their child to this school. they say KIPP stands for Knowledge Is Power Program but to the students actually attending it , it stands for Kids In Prison Program .

i am the parent of a 6 grader this is our second year at KIPP AMP. The name speaks for itself Always Mentally Prepared. As far as middle schools got heis is the best in my opinion the teachers are excellent and dedicated. The Principal is always reachable and helpful. My daughter has adjusted well and loves the curriculum . They School definitely lives by the creed Team and family. the teachers,counselor and the principal all work together to make sure the children are college bound. As a Parent I feel that my voice is heard. Overall KIPP AMP is an amazing school>

look, at first kipp amp started out as a great school with many opportunities, but as i approach my 8th grade year it just became harder to keep up with the double standards. But its almost like they expect us to be perfect and i feel as though they should give us a chance insteda of living in the past of a bit of my mistakes.seeing as how i am in the class of 2014 we are the role models and i get that but what i dont get is how they need to strip us of our freedoms to makes sure the other classes dont think its ok. sometimes they tell us how we need to buckle down and how we are to bad and always misbehaving but when visitors come around somhow they get the misconception that we are soo perfect almost robotic.stop patronizing us please

I go to KIPP amp Academy. I am an eighth grade student going on to high school. During the four years at KIPP AMP Academy I have received nothing but love and the attention that I needed to go into the world and become successful.
