Chestnut Log Middle School

I've noticed that post shown are from previous years. I wanted to offer my opinion of Chestnut Log in a more recent voice. I've had several problems with Chestnut Log. We are new to the area and my son completed the 8th grade last year and I now have a 7th grader attending. I've had to make several calls concerning grades to inappropriate teacher behavior. I just feel stressed. The school year has only just began and I'm already had it with this school. I was embarassed when told by a friend that parents usually enter their kids into 'private' school if zoned for Chestnut Log. For us, that is not an option. In my opinion this is in direct protryal of the leadership of Chestnut Log by Dr. Kieth who is more concerned with her current hairstyle than the activities at her school.

This school is awful, if I had a choice my child would surely not be in this school.

My son is entering his second year at chestnut log middle school and he likes it. Last year he had a couple of problems with bullies,but after taking them to the principal they were taken care of to my satisfaction.Every school no matter how good or bad will have a few bad apples.Over all CLMS is a good school and if i had to choose all over again to send my son there again I would.

I think that this school has the best staff of any around this county. If i have to have a answer about anything they work with me untill it is answered. Think you all for ypur help.
