Just for the record.....They closed Maplewood this past June 2010. However, I do agree. Maplewood was an amazing place. 5 stars
How sad to hear that this school is closing. I am a former student of the school. Some of my fondest memorys of school are of 2nd and 3rd grade. My expleriences at Maplewood helped with my choice of careers, I now am a director of a preschool in Massachusetts. Go Mustangs!
This school is closed due to a failing school district. The students from this school will be moveed to Briargate for the 10/11 school year. Briargate will also close after the upcoming school year and ALL children in Cary will attend the 2 remaining schools on the other side of town. District 26 is in line for state takover... Was a great district but no longer true.
Amazing school. Small and friendly. Parents and teachers alike take an active role in the school. I am so happy this is where my children attend school...they have learned so much and this school has prepared them for years to come.
