My son is 5 and has ADHD. They have done soooo much to help him and teach him how to deal with structured activities. They have patience and understanding.

Great schools - my children are learning so much - curriculum is focused on Math, mainly. Very little parental involvement - poor communication by staff and principal. Beautiful new school. I would have to agree that children with advanced intellectual abilities are not provided additional resources as delayed children. There are minimal after school activities provided, but not enough to keep active children busy during very cold winters. They don't open up the gym for kids to use after school.

I have mixed feelings about this school. The staff have always been warm and friendly and are always available when you need them to be. There are a handful of teachers I think the school needs to let go of. My son is a second grader and has had a great experience up until this year. I will have a meeting with his teacher this week to discuss some concerns I have. There are plenty of activities for the children to do afterschool and also a morning program and afterschool program for working parents for a small fee. My son happens to be very bright and I don't find that he is being challenged enough in the classroom and my husband and I have thought about switching him to a private school.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
