This school is not bad, but they only teach to the test. This has backfired on them and they lost their excellent rating when the State of Ohio changed the way the grade the districts. I also had a daughter there with learning issues and they never did address the problem, so I now have to teach her at home through an online charter school. She is doing 100% better now that she gets a little attention, something she did not recieve at this school.

Our kindergarten child has had difficult behavioral issues entering the school and classroom. The principal, teachers and counselors have been extrodinary in their personal attention to our child and our concerns as parents. They are deeply concerned for the safety of each student, their development and education.

We were very nervous about sending our advanced child to kindergarten. We looked at other options including driving her (quite a distance) to a private school we knew would challenge her. We couldn't be more pleased with her kindergarten experience at Prospect. Her teacher, Mrs. Valley, really goes out of her way to bring challenging activities for our daughter. Mrs. Valley definitely goes above and beyond and knows how to challenge our daughter without frustrating her. She has even worked with the Librarian to find books on her reading levels that can be kept in the classroom for our daughter to read. I can't say enough about Mrs. Valley. I am a teacher myself, and I feel that she puts me to shame!!
