I am a sophmore at Hermitage High School. I have enjoyed my time at the school so far. The atheletics at this school are above average. The football team is outstanding which makes it fun to go to the games. The only negative is the teachers are sub-par. Some are very good teachers, but others make it impossible to learn. Overall, I am happy I am going to Hermitage and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. GO BIG HERM!!! I<3 Flowers :)
I am currently a student at Hermitage. There is nothing to complain about at this school. The extra cirrcular activities are fabulous, there is always more than enough going on. The diversity is something that makes us unique from other area high schools. The overcrowding is not an issue, class size remains smalls. The football team is amazing, the marching band is fabulous. Hermitage provides quality education, while giving students a taste of the real world. I love it there and would not switch schools for anything. GO BIG HERM!
Despite the fact that everyone says that Hermitage is overcrowded, it is a good school. I think everyone gets used to the massive crowds of students by this time of the year anyway. I've also heard that Hermitage has a bad reputation and is a 'thug school.' This is far from true and many students at Hermitage get annoyed with ignorant people who say this and don't even go to this school. Hermitage is the most diverse school in Henrico County and I enjoy the wide range of personalities and cultures. Big Herm Trivia: Hermitage has the largest concrete football stadium in the state. It is the largest school (and most populated) in the region. The Marching Panthers are ranked third in the state. Over 4,000 people are in the building everyday. There are 97 languages spoken at Hermitage.--What's not to love about this school??
I think that the school is good, but the teachers are rude to the students, teachers think just because they are older they can treat younger people with disrespect. If you do something wrong you get in trouble, if you do something well, it goes unreconzied.
