I son has gone to TCS now for 4 years and I cannot say enough good things about it. Their philosophy of teaching to the whole child is exactly in line with what our family believes. My son has learned to be a good student and a good human being. If every child could go to a school like this the world would be a better place.
This school is a godsend. It has incredible diversity,family community, and fantastic, dedicated teachers and administrators. I couldn't be happier.
We love the Country School !!! This was our first year, and my 2 kids have blossomed/flourished ! We were at the buckley school before--[ an extremely stuck-up, over-rated -outragously costly '$$$$$ ' school ] the Country School has excellent teachers/staff,- an outstanding school principal , and superb 'new' head of school---the athletics department is exciting, and has won many games this year--go tcs eagles !!! And of course,-we love being cheerleaders ! the Country School is warm hearted ,environmentally friendly--and academically solid school-truly a nuturing place for all- -there are ,'real' people, [-unlike Buckley]- and a strong emphasis on maintaining an anti-bullying environment---test scores were great this year!--the country school has taught us about, ' community ' and team work--- peace a happy parent
This school has been a wonderful, nurturing environment for both of my boys. They have excelledd academically and socially. I would recommend TCS whole-heartedly to anyone who wants awell rounded academic experience that approaches the development of the child as a person as much as it provides academic excellence. It offers economic diversity unmatched in the areas so your kids are not going to school with just a bunch of 'rich kids' as they might at other independent schools. Diversity is of paramount importance to TCS and it teaches our children life lessons that they will use forever.
