Kenny Lake School has a small but extremely dedicated staff and every student is known as the individual person that they are. Teaching is geared to motivate students in developing not only their academic skills, but also their artistic, athletic, civic and social skills. The K. L. community is strongly supportive and involved in school activities and the lives of the developing students. We are proud of our school.

Besides having the top scores in the state last year and making the top five school this year, it is unusual if their sporting teams, even the rough and tumble hockey program, does NOT get the Sportsmanship award year after year. This school teaches/models moral citizenship and does not tolerate rude behavior. The principal WILL talk to you if you cuss whether you are in 2nd grade or a sophomore! This high standard has resulted in little to no vandalism or graffiti. It is a safe place and my daughters have thrived there.

I have great pride in our K through 12 grade school. Because all the grades are in one school all the students interact with each other. Older ones participate with younger and are great role models. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and work many, many extra hours to make their classes extra special.

Our child has blossomed at this school. The teachers and administration are caring, dedicated individuals who truly care about the children and their academic achievements as well as their well-being. I cannot praise the school enough. It is the best school in the Copper River School District.
