Graham Creek Elementary helps our rural kids be top-students to prepare for higher education.

I have a daughter who has attended Graham Creek since kindergarten. She is currently in the third grade and loves going to school here. All of the teachers she has had so far have been wonderful. There is a tremoundous amount of parent support here. The principal is great. I hope no one realizes how wonderful she is elsewhere, because we don't want to lose her. I have not seen any other elementary schools offer so many extracurricular activities for so many grade levels including kindergarten. Anyone moving into the area with grade school age children can rest assured that their child will receive a great education and a tremendous amount of support at Graham Creek. I could not have hand picked a better place for my child to begin their education.

Graham Creek Elementary is located in a country setting. The teachers and staff are devoted to the education of each and every child. There are many differnt after school clubs, including: Drama, Spanish, German, Telecommunications, ACE, Gardening, and many others. The whole community comes together for events that take place at school. There are many parents that volunteer for different activities through-out the school year. I have two children whom attend GCE, and they love it. We have a difficult time at the end of each year, because the teachers and their methods are so easy to fall in love with. We love our school and it's teachers!

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
