I'm a student Danby middle school right now it is the most excellent school I've ever seen. the teachers are amazing and it has the best teaching ever. We actually scored second in the science category in the map test last year. I've always had an excellent time in this district and plan to keep it that way. GO BLUEJAYS!!!!!!!!!

This school used to be excellent...but lately the teachers almost all new teachers that cone for the first few years and then leave to go to a better school district. Some teachers have no patience for special needs children and have personnally observed this. They would rather just send these types of students out of the classroom so they will not have to deal with them instead of trying to actually help them. In my opinion this school needs to rethink the way they handle children with special needs.

This school is the best school ever. The teachers are all great, just talk to them and get to know them, and the classes are small enough so everyone gets attention. The school is clean, nice and people are friendly. Just remember that whatever you put into school, you'll get out of it. A+!

I am a student at Danby right now (1-7-05). Overall, the school is awesome. We have the best teachers and pretty decent extra-curricular activities. However, like alot of schools, Danby has a clique problem.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
