My son attended Creston for 3rd grade. He was reading below grade level and received instruction in 3 small literacy groups daily. It was highly structured and intensive; my son thrived in this academic environment. Unfortunately, the curriculum in my son's class lacked projects where kids could be more independent, self-motivated, and creative. I think with all the focus on reading and math there was little time left for on-going projects. There was P.E. the arts, and computer for enrichment. My son really liked the arts teacher. She planned several assemblies and field trips but I never saw any art projects sent home. Class size is very small, my son had 21 in his class. The student body is ethnically and economically diverse. The teachers are very Anglo with 2 teachers of color. Socially, the class had a couple of very challenging kids who required disproportionate attention. Principal and counselor are excellent!

I'm very happy with the creston school, all teachers put tru atention at the kids in every class, good comunication with the parents. My douther started from kindergarten she is very happy in her 3 grade, she have much homework and the principal is very nice and just. God blessyou

My daughter started Kindergarten at Creston and is doing extremely well so far, so I can't complain. Creston/Mrs. England are wonderful , and I would definitely recommend the childcare that is provided at the school. Not very expensive, and the lady is very nice.
