Sometimes parents think too much about the education at school. I have noticed that there are awful water fountains at this school. Over the first two semesters at this school. I have suffered a bit because of severe dehydration. I am hoping the school will take care of this, but, if not, I will draw up a plane and submit it to the faculty. I think this is a great learning environment- but it isn't if you are in non-advanced or non-accelerated classes. This is because troublemakers and no-work-doers are in those classes. I got excepted in to the IB program at Moody and didn't go to that school because all my friends were going to Tuckahoe. I am glad I went to Tuckahoe because this is a much better school. OVERALL 5 of 5

Its a shame that this school has gone down hill in recent years. The administration and the faculty just doesn't care anymore. The school has been nicknamed the hood of the west end. My son was threatened and assaulted in a classroom and the administration did nothing. The teacher was a first year teacher and changed her story three times to cover her inability to take control of her classroom. We are moving out of our community of 13 years that we have lived in and love because of this school. Read the reviews and you will see the older ones are great as this used to be one of the best schools in the region. But the last few years the gang problems have gotten worse.

In comparison to where I come from this school is terrific. I guess it just depends on what angle you are looking at it from.
