Mrs. Perkins, the PE teacher, is excellent! Her class is focused not only on physical education, but sportmanship and biblical applications to life. My child went to this school for a short time. PE is not her favorite subject, but Mrs. Perkins made it a time to look forward to. She might expect more out of the kids, but these are middle school kids; there is a lot to learn about being a strong Christian in a world that stresses ungodly behavior. If we don't ask our kids to have a total Christian life, then we aren't living a life dedicated to the Lord. Mrs. Perkins is a strong Christian role model and was a blessing to my child. As a Christian school I expect teachers to apply and role model Biblical teachings. Middle schools are difficult, students are going through a vast array of emotional and physical changes. Teachers need to be able to counsel and uplift each child in a way that strengthens their walk with Christ. This school was unfortunately not a good match for our family.

Love this school. My child has made great gains academically since being here and Love the spiritual support that is given to the students. The teachers are very dedicated and the quality of education is excellent EXCEPT for the PE department. It Really needs a new teacher. The current one is teaching both middle and elementary schools. The middle school kids feel there is a disconnect with her and don't look forward to her class since she comes across a bit rude in the way she says things to the kids. Also this teacher is the study hall teacher and really is of no help to the kids. This is the only teacher this way. The rest are amazing! .

Great school! We are military and recently moved from a Department of Defense school. We were used to smaller class sizes and good teachers so we were apprehensive about moving away from a great environment. Nevertheless, MBCS has exceeded our educational expectations and given us a new standard for what to expect. Our son's first grade teacher is excellent and amazes us with her ability to specifically target his exact needs. The parents are all involved and have included us "new guys" with open arms. It is a great environment and we would recommend the school without reservation.

I love it here... we are military and moved to Monterey during the summer. I was so stressed out worrying about where I was going to send my daughter for Kindergarten as CA public schools are terrible! I thought we couldn't afford a private school here. Then I found MBCS... It was like my prayers were answered. The education is wonderful, the teachers and staff very loving. I am so glad and feel so blessed to have found this school. My daughter loves it!

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
