My disappointment in the Knox School system is morphing into disgust. Administrator and staff rhetoric, tenured ( and I am completely opposed to tenure )and non tenured teachers who are there only to collect a paycheck and benefits as opposed to motivating and teaching and the lack of structured discipline are key to this shift. I doubt I am the only parent who feels this way.
Wow! The Middle school has had some fantastic results with Spell Bowl and Academic Super Bowl. They have competed well and beaten area schools in most areas. The school must be doing something right to do better than bigger city schools!
The Knox Middle School Administrators do a very poor job of addressing parental concerns. The academics are average at best as for extra cirricular activities they are limited but fair.
