This is an awesome school for the 2009 year. My son loves going to school in the mornings and feels so welcomed by the caring staff, especially his teacher, Mrs. Carolyn Beasley. She has gone above and beyond her call of duty as a teacher to help my son as if he were her own. I really appreciate all the hard work the staff puts in to make the children feel comfortable and safe in their school enviroment while striving for academic excellence. I am proud of Church Street Elementary, they have exceeded my expections as a school.
What an awesome school! Not only does Church Street strive for academic excellence, but the music and art programs are second to none. I've had two children attend Church Street, and I cannot say enough good things about the caliber of teachers and staff.
Church Elem. is an amazing school. My daughter's kindergarten exerience has been wonderful. The academic programs are top notch. There are numerous opportunities for art, music, and foriegn languages. Church Street is a blue ribbon school for parent involvement. I would recomend it to any parent who wants a great education for his/her child and who wants to be a part of his/her child's education.
They do not treat all kids the same. If you are well named persons kid then you do not have to worry about getting in trouble but all the other kids better watch out! This school needs help in a hurry!
