The faculty and staff of Pittman School are committed to providing every student with adequate time on task, effective teaching and a positive learning environment. We believe that every child can learn and has innate potential that must be discovered and developed by all educators coming in contact with the child. We are proud to say that we have held exemplary status for 8 years. This year we are proud to boast that we are a honor school of excellence.The staff work very hard to ensure that student achievement and motivation is our number one priority. We strive to involve our parents as much as possible. Some of our events include K-2assessment/End of Grade Night, Family Reading Night, Family Math Night, Harvest Festival,Hands-On Science Night, May Day, Sweetheart Ball, Spring Fling and Parent Appreciation Night. Our ultimate goal is to prepare each child to think through situations logically, to make the best decisions and to become independent and productive citizens.
