I have four children, all of whom attend the Academy. At one time or another they were enrolled at two other local daycare centers and I can safely say that neither compared to The Academy of Young Minds. I will admit that at one time a few of the teachers were not my favorites and childcare obviously wasnt the field that they should have been in. But lately the staff has been EXCELLENT, they make drop off a breeze and when I pick up at night they give me plenty of information about my kids' day. The only thing that I can agree with about the previous post is that AOYM is a beautiful center. I told three of my friends about AOYM and all of their children are now enrolled! *And Ms. Sandra's Pre-K class has done wonders for my four year old*
AOYM has large staff turn-over - this has turned into a babysitting service since not many activities or learning opportunities are provided for kids. Staff communication with parents & interaction with children is non-existent. AOYM is a beautiful center, but underneath it is poorly managed.
