The school is al country and a lot of good Christian kids I think the school has improved over the last five years as Ive had 4 kids through the system, and the kids seem content and challenged, have good reward system in place every 6 weeks to keep the children motivated. The culture is changing which is a good thing. The only thing I didnt particularly care for is the principal.

I moved here from Norfolk which has wonderful schools and didn't expect much from a small town, but they impressed me with their security measures, communication between teachers and parents, wonderful programs for afterschoolers and I especially love the new King William childrens center for preschoolers, the discounted child care for summer, its the best of both worlds, I couldnt be happier. As a single parent I feel wonderful living in such a friendly comunity with great schools.

This school is for the average student. If your child is gifted they may not be challenged. If your child needs assistance...get in line. They have music once per week, pe once per week and very little extracurricular. They do a good job with security and recognition awards but lack in their guidelines for bullying and tolerance for violence. I have had 3 children attend the school and would see it was better than king and queen but still a bit behind in academics and quality compared to Hanover schools. There are a lot of children getting financial aid for lunches which may be a reflection of the culture.

The academics are geared towards the average student and are most realistic for the grade level . The safety standards and systems in place supercede the hanover system and having been involved in both school systems, I recognize the no bullying tolerance system has been a huge success in hanover and would be well suited for the king wiliiam schools.
