This is an amazing school. The academics are great and so are the teachers. Do not send your child here if they aren't prepared to work hard. There are many high expectations not only from the faculty but also from your peers. One thing I have noticed is that the campus and students give you a safe feeling. Although the school is expensive you get exactly what your paying for.
This school is the best! If you want to skate by, this is not the school for you. They have the highest standards, and expect the best from you. Several of my friends transfered in here from the local high schools and love it here. One thing I like at SMHS is the feeling of community. There is a closeness among the students and alot of respect. Students stand when an adult comes in the room, we pray before classes, the dress codes are enforced. The environment is really nice. I'm grateful that my parents sent me to Santa Margarita High.
This school was amazing I'm so grateful my parents sent me here. It prepared me extremely well for college.
The principal is beginning his 2nd year at SM and has already increased school spirit by the tons. He has created a more faith-filled environment and increased the dedication of the teachers to the school. There are always some people who complain about the school, but- the good merits about SM most definitely outweigh the bad.
