This is our second year at CES and we LOVE it! The teachers and staff are completely committed to doing their best for their students. The administrators are extremely supportive and, I think, it helps motivate the teachers to rise above expectations. It has been a great experience for us.

HORRIBLE teachers, 2-4 hours of home work every night! outdated material. Very unpleasant experience for my children and I.

My son started kindergarten there last year, and my younger son will be starting kindergarten there this fall. CES is an *excellent* school. The teachers are very patient and caring, they truly love the children, and the other staff (principal, vice principal, counselors, etc.) are just as wonderful. This is a wonderful school!

My son has been going to Cumming Elem for 3 years now and I could'nt ask for a better place for him to be. The teachers are caring and they want our children to learn. They will go that extra mile if they need to for a child. The Asst. Principal is just as caring and wonderfrul as the teachers.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
