I moved up here due to the schools in Fresno, Madera area and this school has been really good for our children. Teachers are very helpful and willing to go beyond there reach to help. I feel that more parents need to realize how great this school is and go check out some other schools in Valley and you will be grateful for such a small community school. As far as the kids you have good and bad in all schools. They are kids and we as parents are the ones who still have controll over what are kids do and how we reward them. So as long as we are involved and not expecting our TEACHERS to do ALL THE WORK. Then we will be showing our children the responsible way to being a more productive ADULT and not a spoiled brat. I love the school and give it a 5 STAR

The budget cuts and moving 4th and 5th grades to the school seems to have not been such a great idea. They have teachers not teaching their specialty, and it is really hurting the school. Especially when it comes to the underprivileged and disabled. They toute the school as a "CA Distinguished school, but that award is for only 2 years and is long gone. As a matter of fact it is named as a low performing school by California. The principal seems to be trying really hard, but due to poor leadership (if any) from the district and board, I don't think he has much control. Overall, if I could I would send my child to Clovis if I could. A high API is hiding a lot of problems with the school and the district.

pretty good school. the teachers are questionable, the is trash all over the place, and the kids are kind of jerks, but overall it is a pretty good school, in fact the nicest in the district as far as quality goes.

I am not impressed. I feel their special education resources to be lacking. I am sorry that I can't send my child to another school.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
