LCHS is a great school. You don't see the violence and drugs in this school like you do everywhere else. The students are spirited and not snotty acting at all, they're real good down to earth kids. The school itself is a modern structure, clean, great layout of school grounds, just an all around beautiful school. You people who put it down have odviously never been outside of the county because compared to the other schools this one is above all the best by far.

This is the worst school ever. I attended it years ago and it was awful then too, now my child goes there. The teachers sit back and do nothing, so much for educating our children. If a problem arises you don't hear from the principal or any other teacher in the beginning, you have to hope you have a good relationship with your child so they will tell you themselves. In my own personal opinion I think the teachers thought they would become teachers so they would get a long vacation every year and not have to work at anything just show up and hang out. Anyway thats how they presented themselves to me. Not one teacher that I've talked to seemed to have a passion for what they do. None of them were concerned with the welfare of my child in any way.

An alumna of LCHS, I am very disappointed with the school and the education I received there. I should hope it has improved a great deal since my years in attendance. I received encouragement from only a handful of teachers; when held against athletics, education came second; a form of academic tracking was in place, so many students who could have excelled in collegiate instutitions were urged toward trade schools; etc. My only commendation for LCHS is that there are a few teachers (or were years ago, when I was a student there) who incite motivation and strive to encourage even the most apathetic of students.

LCHS is an extremely safe school,the teachers are great,and the students are in no way out of control..they are just being teenagers.I have been to several different schools in different states and know the things that go on in other places with the drugs and violence.There is NOTHING like that at LCHS. Being a former student of LCHS I strongly disagree with the other reviews on here..none of them have witnessed anything firsthand.I am tired of others trying to make it look like it is a bad school to go to! The students are amazing young adults with an enormous amount of potential,that care alot about their school,they have a lot of school spirit and the others need to stop making them feel bad about themselves and the school they love.
