I love this school. They offer so many services for your child. if they need additional help, the school staff is there. Mr. King the schools principal is very involved in every childs education. I have 4 children going through the franklin regional school district and I am very pleased with their education.

I give this school a 5 rating for many reasons. I have a child who came into K from a private school as we were living in Jeannette and I refused to send them there. The difference was night and day. The teachers and aides go above and beyond. The school DOES make many extracirricular activities available, you just have to read the paperwork your child brings home. Wrestling, Football, Baseball, Science Fairs, Spanish, French, Arts and Crafts, Summer Swimming, Gardening, Field Trips, etc. the list goes on and on. My wife is an FR graduate and her experience was a very positive one.

2 Children K-3 thus far and majority of teachers go above and beyond, care about the students and are available to parents. Many of the extracirricular activities are district wide and not a deficit of Heritage Elem. P.E. lacks enthusiasm; Principle has and is regularly available- not sure how he is expected to know all kids and parents in other comments.

Extra curricular does lack...and I think it is primarily because parents don't know what extra programs are available that can be offered to students. Murrysville and surrounding communities are not transient areas which provides both positive and negative impacts. Negative is that we are not brining in new programs. Teachers work hard, yet most are recruited from the schools in the area. They would benefit from more diversity of approach. Regarding principal not knowing the kids and parents...could not agree more.
