I counted on this site to help me when we moved to Ohio to find a school district that was highly ranked as well as highly reviewed. I took a leap of faith in looking at the greatschool rating over the personal opinions because they didn't make alot of sense. I'm glad I did. My daughter has thrived here. She did encounter a bully which was dealt with in a compassionate and professional manner - they take that seriously and do something about it. The staff has been great and welcoming.

My daughter currently attends donovan elementary school. I personally went to lebanon schools growing up and wanted my daughter to have all the advantages i got from such a good school system. However, that is not the case anymore. This schools teachers are not helpful or accomodating to parents. It takes an act of god to get a meeting and resolution never occurs here. Communication severly lacks between staff/ administrators and parents. My daughters self-esteem has crumbled in this school from 'comments' made by school personnel. We have had such a miserable experience that we are contemplating private school for the next school year. I would not recommend this school to anyone!

Lebanon has nice cirriculum but with most small town schools in the area, there is a bullying problem.

It has been several yrs. since having a student in this shool but I have nieces and nephews that attend. I have only heard good things. The students are proud of the newer school along with the teachers. I know several of the teachers and the ones that I know seem very dedicated to their students and their jobs.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
